Max Ogden is the remaining founder of Contech and brings over 40 years of experience to the table. He has a broad sense of the industry and has experience in every facet of it. Max understands the customers’ desire for an exceptional product at a reasonable price. He is a hands on owner, and is currently active in the sales, marketing, and finance areas of the company. He’s able to move between each process, using a lifetime of skills and experience. Max is continuously striving to bring together the key components of industry. Listening to the needs of the customer, developing a plan with skilled staff, and the delivery of a superior product, that is what gives him great satisfaction. Max is devoted to his faith, family, and enjoys a healthy dose of his beloved grandkids.
Deb Ogden the current President, was raised in the graphic arts industry, her father, George Salsgiver was the inventor of thermal die cutting. She had the honor of working for her father and her two brothers, and now, with their passing is carrying on in her family's footsteps, working alongside her husband, Max. She is active at Contech and is proud of the company and legacy that her family has built. Deb is devoted to her husband, her faith, and her children, but her favorite pastime by far is spending time with her 8 grandkids.
Pat Sponsel has been with Contech 33 years. In that span of time, he has worn every hat imaginable. Pat truly is the guy who started from the ground up. He knows our equipment from the early days to today. Pat has a keen sense of what our customers expect and for Pat, customer service is key. As Operations Manager, Pat’s hands on approach is well known. He takes our valued customers through the quoting process, the manufacturing of their equipment, and the final delivery to their door. Pat keeps busy with his wife and 3 kids.
George Olson with degree in hand, George entered the world of Converting and Processing over 35 years ago, over that span of time he has become widely respected for his knowledge of Thermal Die Cutting and designing of converting equipment, while learning the paper and film industry along the way. George now designs equipment and lines that serve to create higher degrees of efficiency for our customers. As Sales Engineer for Contech, he is a key bridge to working with Sales and the customer, to ensure that the customer will get the precision and efficiency from their equipment, which they have come to expect out of a Contech product. To quote George, “I have worked as a designer, engineering manager, sales engineering and a fixer of busted things”.
Gary Wolfe has worked with Contech since 1979. He graduated from Wichita State University in 1979 with a Mechanical Engineering (BSME) degree. He is very much a SolidWorks CAD enthusiast (CSWP certification) and thoroughly appriciates machine design. Gary enjoys traveling and meeting customers both in the field and at home. Hobbies include restoring and driving old Volkswagens, exploring history, and watching any kind of baseball with his family. He has been married to his lovely wife Mary for 29 years and is looking forward to having and spoiling grandkids someday.
